We’re looking for a strong, talented, result-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. You will drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution and partner with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute Go-to-Market plans. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, a diplomatic collaborator, a strategic thinker, and capable of delivering with sound judgment. Your Day-to-Day Positioning and Messaging: Be the expert on our buyers, their buying criteria, and competitive trends. Craft messaging that emphasizes differentiators and business value.
Content Creation: Create messaging and content (webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.) that highlight differentiated value.
Presentation: Present to internal and external audiences, including sales training, customer briefings, webinars, industry events, and analyst briefings. Act as the primary thought leader for the supported solutions.
Domain Expertise: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the email security market. Research market trends and competitive landscape; translate insights into actionable guidance for sales, marketing, product management and more.
Launch Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and launch new solution capabilities and releases; support updates to generate sales and market awareness.
Sales Enablement: Create and deliver enablement content and tools to help sellers communicate our value.
Dynamic Collaboration: Build strong relationships across product management, marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales; align on release benefits.
Customer Advocacy: Leverage customer stories and testimonials to strengthen positioning and messaging.
What You Bring To The Team 8+ years of experience in product marketing. Email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT experience preferred.
BS/BA required; MBA a plus.
Experience marketing to enterprise businesses and technical buyers; ability to converse across technical and sales audiences with concise messaging.
Strong content creation skills, with ability to research, write, and edit high-quality materials aligned with messaging guidelines.
Passion for understanding the market and translating that into actionable Go-to-Market plans.
Analytical, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills to lead and inspire a diverse team.
Ability to articulate value at both the product and solution levels; strong storytelling, written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
High energy and enthusiasm; willingness to travel up to 10-15% (travel may be required).
