Overview

Account Manager, GenAI Startups, GenAI Startup Team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead and expand business with strategic GenerativeAI startups. The role involves building broad relationships within the account, developing and managing opportunities, and leading a large team of extended resources. You will define an executive relationship strategy within the account, including building a strong working relationship with AWS senior leadership for sponsorship, business reviews, and go-to-market opportunities. Responsibilities

Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales professional or business development professional. Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies. Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business. Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for GenerativeAI Startups. Basic Qualifications

5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent Company & Compliance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package.
