(Hybrid, Boston, MA) An established alternative asset management firm, based in Boston, is seeking a
Senior Finance Associate
with a strong accounting and finance foundation to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with
4+ years of relevant experience
who is ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes Perform bank and account reconciliations Support and execute month-end and quarter-end close procedures Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and assist with financial reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and data accuracy Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and streamline reporting processes Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of experience
in accounting or finance, preferably within financial services or asset management Solid understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures Management company/ industry accounting experience is required Proficient in Microsoft Excel ( vlookups ,
pivot tables , etc.) Experience with Workday is a
plus , but not required Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment This is a full-time role that is offering a strong base salary and bonus potential.
