Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Manager to oversee and manage a large estate in Pasadena, as well as the family\'s other properties as needed (all in Southern California). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing substantial properties, a robust network of local vendors, and exceptional leadership and responsiveness. The candidate will assist the family with their move and streamline processes in place. This is a long-term role focused on maintaining the estate\'s excellence. Candidates located near Pasadena are highly preferred. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of estate operations, including maintenance, landscaping, security, and housekeeping. Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards at all times. Manage and coordinate a team of 4+ staff members. Provide leadership, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and teamwork. Utilize a local network of trusted vendors to coordinate repairs, renovations, and services. Manage vendor relationships for high-quality service and cost-effective solutions. Develop and manage the estate\'s budget, track expenses, and prepare financial reports. Provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed. Plan and coordinate events and special occasions held at the estate, including logistics, catering, and setup to ensure a seamless experience. Develop and implement long-term maintenance plans, including preventative maintenance schedules and seasonal preparations. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Be available to address urgent issues or emergencies related to the estate, including after-hours and weekends as required. Qualifications
Proven experience managing large estates with a history of successfully overseeing complex property operations. Experience managing multiple properties is highly preferred as additional properties may be added in the future. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of household staff effectively. Must be highly responsive and willing to work beyond typical office hours, including late nights and weekends if necessary. Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management related to property operations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact professionally with estate owners, guests, and staff. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$120,000-$150,000/yearly + benefits. A slightly higher salary is negotiable for the right candidate. Location and Schedule
Location:
Pasadena, CA. This is a fully onsite role, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends. Candidates in close proximity are highly preferred. Employment Details
