Full-Time An elite Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate & Securities Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate law, with specific expertise in securities regulations and transactional work. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from startups to established corporations, providing strategic legal advice and support. Pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience, is $235k - $310k. Responsibilities
Advise on M&A transactions, venture financings, and general corporate governance. Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, financing documents, and related materials. Support emerging companies through their lifecycle, from startup to exit. Manage due diligence and coordinate with clients, senior attorneys and specialists on transactional workstreams. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the DC or Virginia bar (or eligibility to waive in). 2–4 years of corporate transactional experience, ideally at a large law firm. Experience in M&A, venture financings, or general corporate work. Strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail. Highly motivated with an interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility. Ability to handle day-to-day demands and workflow in a team-oriented and dynamic environment. How to apply
