Job Information The School of Communication at FIU is seeking adjunct instructors to teach introductory as well as advanced communication courses offered online for the fully online programs: BA in Communication Arts; BS in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication (PRAAC); and MS in Global Strategic Communications (GSC).

Contracts are on a semester-by-semester basis. Minimum qualifications are a master’s in communication, or related field, with one year online teaching experience. Instructors must be familiar with CANVAS and ZOOM. All courses have already been developed and received QM designation. Adjuncts are not required to develop any content or prepare CANVAS shells.

that this pool is open for the 2024-2025 academic year and is reviewed based on departmental needs. Screening of applications will occur as positions become available and continue until positions are filled. Minimum Qualifications Primary Instructors:

Master's Degree in communication or equivalent.

One year online teaching experience.

Secondary Instructors, Course Assistants and Other Instructional:

Bachelor's Degree in communication, journalism, digital media or equivalent.
