What To Expect We're seeking a highly skilled individual to apply analytics across our People organization and drive data-driven decision making. As a key member of our team, this person will enjoy a high degree of autonomy to own the full analytics value-chain end to end, from framing business challenges to designing and implementing analytics solutions. As a member of Tesla's People Systems & Analytics Team, you'll have the opportunity to apply analytics methods to real-world business situations across the People organization, driving significant business impact. You'll partner with stakeholders to ensure that data is at the center of every decision made within the organization, and support full-stack analytics to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to frame business challenges and identify key drivers

Apply robust analytics methods to business situations

Implement high standards of data quality across the People organization

Distill complex data into simple, clear visualizations for non-technical stakeholders

Develop and maintain analytics tools and infrastructure end-to-end

Partner with development teams to integrate analytics solutions into existing systems

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of analytics solutions and processes

What You'll Bring

Strong background in analytics, data science, or a related field

Ability to work independently in unstructured environments

Strong problem-framing, problem-solving, and project management skills

Experience applying analytics to business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data

Experience analyzing data and building ETLs with Python and SQL

Experience distilling complex results into simple, clear visualizations

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Apache Superset

Ability to build full-stack analytics solutions from scratch (e.g., Python + React)

Knowledge of People data is a plus

Benefits and Compensation Expected Compensation

$108,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
