Our Client, a respected leader in the San Antonio market, is looking for a forward-thinking and strategic
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
to lead the IT vision and operations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned IT leader to break free from rigid corporate structures and build a modern, high-performing IT organization—with full executive support and autonomy. We're seeking a people-first leader who can combine big-picture thinking with hands-on technical expertise, and who thrives in a collaborative, business-casual culture that values both office and field-based team members. Key Responsibilities
Set Strategic Direction:
Define and implement short- and long-term IT goals aligned with overall business objectives to drive efficiency, growth, and innovation. Lead & Develop Talent:
Manage and mentor a team of 20 IT professionals spanning infrastructure, operations, and digital transformation. Own Technology Operations:
Ensure robust IT infrastructure while spearheading key initiatives like ERP system evaluation and future digital projects. Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve the needs of both corporate and field teams by delivering practical, user-friendly solutions that generate measurable business impact. Partner with Executives:
Collaborate closely with the executive team to align IT initiatives with company goals. What We're Looking For
Proven IT executive leadership with a history of building and scaling high-performing teams Strategic thinker who can execute and deliver results Strong communicator and leader, able to inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders Broad IT expertise across infrastructure, operations, and transformation initiatives Experience in construction or a related industry is a plus, but not required This is not your standard CIO role.
