Join us for an exciting future. Position Summary: A Fluid Connector Product Manager is responsible for supporting sales opportunities for all assigned products. The FCPM serves as a primary interface with manufacturers and is responsible for supporting and training employees to grow the sales and profits of the assigned product lines. This position is remote and requires travel to support our branches. Responsibilities
Develop technical expertise in all products designated as the responsibility of the PM. Act as the main liaison with manufacturers of the assigned products and related parties, with the category management team. Facilitate training for the MFCP sales organization to ensure competency in products and applications for sales opportunities with customers. Identify new markets and associated products to expand MFCP expertise and grow sales of assigned products; provide insights to category management through the category profile and planning processes. Visit all branches to develop target accounts and assist in developing branch personnel. Work with category management to establish proper inventory levels. Oversee profitable growth and margin enhancement for sales opportunities in collaboration with category management and the strategic initiative team. Coordinate efforts with all appropriate departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Demonstrate leadership by setting and achieving company goals. Conduct monthly meetings with IHP and FCG team members. Attend Parker DAC and NAHAD Conference as appropriate. Basic Requirements
College degree or relevant technical degree and/or minimum 7 years’ experience selling Fluid Connector and Hydraulic Hose. Multiple manufacturers experience is a plus. Familiarity with hydraulic hose and fittings selection and applications, especially Parker Hannifin. Experience or education in business administration is desirable. Proficiency in all Parker Hannifin Fluid Connector Groups; PTAC certification is a bonus. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with willingness to learn new software; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company guidelines. Physical Demands and Work Environment
