Position Summary

Vice President of Sales at AiLO Logistics (formerly AJR Trucking). This full-time, exempt role is based in Glendale, CA with remote options for the Midwest region. Location: Glendale, CA / Remote (Midwest Region). AiLO Logistics is undergoing a comprehensive rebrand to reflect its innovative approach and commitment to excellence in logistics, including integration of AI and automation into supply chains. The rebrand symbolizes the company’s evolving image and operations as it leads in a rapidly changing logistics landscape. Responsibilities

We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to own three growth channels within our logistics business: enterprise-level national sales, sales of our asset-based logistics arm, and the development of a scalable agent model. This leader will report to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will drive targeted revenue growth in defined areas while collaborating with other senior sales leaders to execute the company’s broader go-to-market strategy. Enterprise Sales Execution Lead enterprise-level national sales efforts across multiple verticals, engaging large and strategic customers. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with enterprise clients, positioning the company as a trusted logistics partner. Partner with other senior sales leaders to ensure alignment of enterprise pursuits with overall sales strategy. Consistently deliver against revenue targets in the enterprise segment. Asset Arm Sales & Growth Drive sales growth for the company’s asset-based logistics operations, ensuring high utilization and profitability. Collaborate with asset operations leadership to align pricing, capacity, and customer demand. Develop strategies to integrate asset solutions into broader enterprise and brokerage offerings to enhance customer value. Agent Model Development & Scale Design, launch, and scale the independent agent sales channel, expanding the company’s market presence and reach. Develop recruiting, training, and incentive structures to ensure long-term agent productivity and retention. Monitor performance and create frameworks for accountability while maintaining alignment with company standards. Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration Partner closely with the CRO, other VPs, and functional leaders (Operations, Finance, Customer Success) to ensure customer solutions are executed effectively. Provide reporting and insights on revenue performance, pipeline health, and channel growth. Contribute thought leadership on emerging opportunities in enterprise logistics, asset-backed solutions, and agent channel strategy. Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 10+ years of progressive sales experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain; at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field required; MBA preferred. Demonstrated success in enterprise-level logistics sales, with multimillion-dollar contract wins. Proven experience selling asset-based transportation solutions (e.g., dedicated fleets, intermodal, asset-backed brokerage). Track record of building or scaling an independent agent model strongly preferred. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance enterprise relationship management and channel development. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Success Metrics

New logo revenue growth in enterprise accounts. Asset arm performance (utilization, revenue, profitability). Growth and productivity of the agent channel. Contribution to overall company revenue and customer portfolio diversification. Pay

The base pay is competitive, depending on experience ($150,000 - $175,000) + commission and will be discussed during an in-person interview. Benefits
