Overview
Suvi Global Services LLC (Suvi) is seeking a technically proficient IT Project Lead to support the coordination of technical projects across software development, cloud infrastructure, data systems, and physical server room buildout. This role reports to the program manager and will serve as a key interface between technical teams, government stakeholders, and vendors to ensure requirements are captured, documented, and executed effectively across a hybrid technology environment. The ideal candidate will bring a systems-level understanding of both virtual and physical IT domains and excel at translating stakeholder needs into actionable tasks. This is a remote position, however, the candidate must be local to the Washington, D.C. area to attend in-person meetings as required. Responsibilities
Coordinate planning and execution of software development activities, including backlog grooming, sprint tracking, and milestone management. Work with cloud engineers, developers, and data teams to ensure alignment of system design, access, and operational dependencies. Track progress across multiple technical workstreams (e.g., development, testing, integration) and assist with documentation and reporting. Server Room & Physical Infrastructure Support: Gather and track infrastructure requirements related to server room buildout, including power, HVAC, racks, cabling, and physical security. Coordinate with facilities and vendor teams to support implementation and ensure infrastructure readiness aligns with system deployment plans. Support documentation and change tracking of the physical IT environment. Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement: Translate technical and non-technical stakeholder needs into well-structured requirements across virtual and physical domains. Maintain traceability of requirements and configuration across project lifecycle. Assist the program manager in preparing documentation, decision briefs, and stakeholder updates. Governance & Compliance Support: Ensure technical work aligns with applicable cybersecurity, compliance, and facility requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP). Track asset inventories, licensing, and system configurations across environments. Coordinate responses to data calls, status reports, and executive requests. Qualifications
A minimum DoD secret clearance (active) and clearable to additional federal agency public trust. Must be able to obtain and maintain Tier 5 Public Trust. Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in IT, systems coordination, or technical project support. PMP and CCNA preferred. 5-7 years of experience supporting IT initiatives involving software, cloud, data systems, or infrastructure. Understanding of physical infrastructure requirements for server rooms or data center environments. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle coordination. Experience working in cloud-native and hybrid environments with multiple technical teams. Ability to manage and communicate technical information clearly across disciplines.
