Business Tax Services - Private Tax Partnerships - Senior at EY. EY Private Tax is a growing practice focusing on privately held companies, from family-owned businesses to private equity owned companies. The role offers opportunities to work on technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects with ample support and training, and potential progression to manager. Responsibilities
Preparing or reviewing federal and state tax returns for U.S. partnerships, including foreign reporting requirements for cross-border tax compliance (foreign partnerships, foreign corporations, foreign disregarded entities, and foreign affiliate reporting). Providing tax research, drafting tax memoranda, and assisting in quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services. Identifying and communicating significant tax matters to Managers and Senior Managers. Liaising with other service lines and subject matter professionals; building long-term client relationships and understanding their needs to provide tailored service. Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients. Maintaining and updating technical knowledge and sharing best practices. Reviewing the work of more junior staff. Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and processes. Skills And Attributes For Success
A bachelor\'s degree in a related field, with tax, business or financial planning experience. Active progress toward or possession of CPA certification or membership in The Bar. Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to challenge colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization. Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment. Ideally, You Will Have
A commitment to continuing learning. Proficiency with tax software (e.g., RIA, CCH IntelliConnect, OneSource, BNA, Lexis Nexis). Experience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plus. What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges: $82,000–$135,200 (US); $98,500–$153,600 in NYC Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension/401(k), and paid time off. Salaries are determined by factors such as education, experience and geography. Hybrid work model with most client-facing roles in person 40-60% of the time. Flexible vacation and holidays, with additional personal and family leave options.
