This geography covers Las Vegas, Henderson, and the surrounding areas. The role involves executing brand strategy and tactics in the field, driving sales performance, effectively managing the assigned territory and targeted accounts, building strong customer relationships, and solving customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance while adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities
Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed defined goals. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and secure actionable next steps on each sales call. Aim to serve customer needs and expectations, build trusted relationships, and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Gain and share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, disease states, products, clinical and sales insights with in-field teams, brand teams, and sales management to align strategies and adapt to changes. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers, and identify and maintain disease-state experts and speakers to maximize brand performance. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or relevant equivalent experience; or at least five years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry with three years in pharma preferred; high school diploma/GED required if applicable. Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; proficient with business tools; strategic and critical thinking; able to operate in a matrix environment; offers innovative ideas to maximize opportunities. Proven track record in selling with strong presentation skills; adapts selling approaches to customer style and demands; contributes ideas for the broader organization and responds to changes. Influences others and is seen as a credible resource among peers; builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams; leads by example and provides peer coaching in changing environments. Demonstrated leadership and ability to assume increasing responsibility at district/region levels; uses findings to inform sales strategies. Preferred: experience in sales performance within therapeutic areas; prior pharmaceutical industry experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency in speaking and writing. Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to gain access to facilities and organizations within the assigned territory and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials. HCIR requirements may include background checks, drug screens, immunizations, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses as required. AbbVie provides resources to assist with questions. Key Stakeholders
