Overview

Specialty Representative, Dermatology - Las Vegas North. This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. This geography covers Northern Las Vegas, Summerlin, and all of Northern Nevada (Reno, Tahoe, Sparks, Carson City, etc.). Join AbbVie to contribute to brand strategy and tactics in the field, drive sales performance, manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts, and build strong customer relationships to maximize short and long-term sales performance with patient-centric focus. Responsibilities

Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations to improve sales performance; address objections and guide calls to action to close sales where appropriate. Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Build understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, and disease/product knowledge; share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team, and sales management to align and optimize strategy. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience. Five years of industry experience with at least three years in pharmaceutical/health/science is preferred; high school diploma/GED required if no bachelor’s degree. Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; ability to adapt to customer behavior and provide innovative solutions to maximize opportunities; credible and respected among peers. Ability to work in a matrix environment and lead by example with positive behavior and coaching. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to develop sales strategies from district to regional levels. Preferred: experience in sales within therapeutic areas; familiarity with physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency. Must satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain access to facilities and organizations in the assigned territory; may include background checks, drug screens, immunizations, fingerprinting, and licenses. Strong scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; good business acumen and strategic thinking; able to operate effectively in a matrix environment. Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet safe driving requirements. Additional Information

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation and may vary by geographic location and other factors; individual compensation may be higher or lower than the posted range and is subject to modification. Base pay range: $78,500.00/yr - $192,500.00/yr AbbVie offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. This role is eligible for short-term and long-term incentives where applicable.
