Job DescriptionJob Description Litigation Associate – Hybrid (New Jersey) Position Overview Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of litigation experience for its New Jersey office. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters while working alongside highly regarded attorneys at a top-ranked firm. Candidates should bring strong academic credentials, proven writing and research skills, and the ability to manage complex cases in state and federal courts. Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis

Manage both traditional and electronic discovery processes

Appear and advocate before state and federal courts

Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop and execute litigation strategies

Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance

3–5 years of litigation experience, ideally at a mid- to large-sized law firm

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

Experience with pleadings, discovery, and courtroom appearances

Admission in good standing to the New Jersey Bar (required)

Federal clerkship experience

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $215,000 – $245,000 per year (commensurate with experience and location)
