Location: Boston, MA 02215 Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), with floating to Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract) Start Date: October 20, 2025 End Date: January 17, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, except holidays) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470-$2540 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or CCU nursing experience Proficiency with PA lines and transvenous pacing Cardiac nursing experience (surgical or medical) required Preferred: Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support devices (IABP, Impella) Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers) Must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last 6 months Responsibilities
Provide expert nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU and CCU Monitor and manage PA lines, transvenous pacing, and advanced cardiac devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Float between CVICU and CCU as needed Participate in ongoing nursing education and orientation sessions Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety Benefits
