Location: Chicago, IL. Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract. Pay Rate: $130/hr. Schedule: 10/7, 10/8 dayshift.
Overview
VitalCheck Wellness is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to administer Covid 19 and Flu vaccines for a private business in Chicago, IL. This role involves direct patient care, efficient vaccine preparation and administration, and ensuring accurate documentation. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for vaccines, including preparation, administration, and post-vaccination observation as appropriate. Document all vaccine administration accurately in the EMR system and maintain up-to-date medical records. Serve as the ordering provider for vaccines administered at assigned clinics. Maintain professional standards and ensure compliance with state requirements for practice autonomy and collaboration. Qualifications
Active, clean Nurse Practitioner license to practice in IL. Active BLS/ACLS Certification. Experience administering vaccines with a minimum of 3–5 years; experience with Covid and Flu vaccines is preferred. Strong customer service skills and a professional bedside manner. Proficient with computers and documenting in EMR systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Focus on patient counseling and vaccine education. Experience with high-volume vaccination settings, emergency rooms, or other fast-paced environments is a plus. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Must bring own laptop/tablet to work. Reliable commute to Chicago, IL. About VitalCheck Wellness
