Responsibilities VitalCheck Wellness is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to administer Covid-19 and Flu vaccines for a private business in Chicago, IL. This role involves direct patient care, vaccine preparation and administration, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Active, clean NP license to practice in IL.
Active BLS/ACLS certification.
Serve as the ordering provider for vaccines administered at assigned clinics.
Collaborating physician required unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
Minimum 3-5 years of vaccine administration experience; experience with Covid and Flu vaccines preferred.
Customer service-oriented with strong bedside manner.
Proficient with computers and EMR documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Focus on patient counseling and vaccine education.
Experience with high-volume vaccinations or in fast-paced environments (ER, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Must bring own laptop/tablet to work.
Reliable commute to Chicago, IL.
