Negotiate, draft, and manage a variety of legal agreements (MSAs, NDAs, leases, contractor agreements, etc.) Advise internal teams on legal risks, contract interpretation, and compliance with U.S. laws and regulations (including sanctions and trade rules) Manage commercial litigation and receivables-related disputes Support the protection and expansion of the company’s IP and patent portfolio Assist with M&A activity, corporate governance, and internal policy development Act as a true business partner—not just legal counsel—across cross-functional teams What You Bring

J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school + active bar admission (any U.S. state) 4-10 years of experience in corporate law (in-house or law firm) Industry experience in energy or oil & gas is required Strong understanding of compliance issues, especially U.S. sanctions and trade regulations Skilled in legal negotiation with a commercial mindset A balance of independence and collaboration—you take initiative but know when to team up Bonus points if you’re calm under pressure and can translate legalese into business English This position requires legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
