Senior Marketing Manager, US Knees- Robotics (Memphis, TN; Andover, MA; Pittsburgh, PA; Ft Worth, TX) Life Unlimited.

At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. The Senior Marketing Manager, US Knees Robotics, directs efforts on leading, planning, and driving downstream marketing strategies and tactics required to drive sustained revenue growth in the highly competitive Robotics market. In addition, this role will lead a team of marketing managers focused on developing and implementing marketing strategies. We are looking for a strong people leader who will contribute to leading the US Knees Robotics Marketing team towards continued growth and organizational development, while building best-in-class marketing capabilities. In this position, you will be highly visible internally and externally serving as a critical member of our US Recon and Robotics Commercial Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of 2-3, you will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Joint Reconstruction and Robotic market landscape: market trends, customer priorities, and competitive landscape to shape our go to market approach.

Develop marketing plans that include targeting, value proposition, key messaging, market analysis, competitive analysis, promotional planning, trade show strategy, sales tool development, digital and web strategy and a revenue each product category.

Implement go to market plans for assigned product lines including promotions, medical education, digital marketing, channel readiness, inventory requirement and allocation.

Launch Planning and Portfolio lifecycle management.

Collaborate with Upstream Marketing and other functions to represent the US Market needs from an innovation perspective.

Annually create and present marketing plans partnering with global marketing, sales management, medical education, sales training, digital, and supply planning.

Develop and lead monthly reviews to ensure commercial and cross-functional alignment.

Work with the Knees Reconstruction Team and Sales Leadership to develop tools and resources to support their efforts on the product lines.

Deploy pricing guidelines into local markets, lead pricing exceptions process, and provide geography-specific input into pricing decisions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, MBA ideal

5+ years downstream marketing leadership in the Orthopedics and Robotics market

2+ years management experience

Experience in providing marketing guidance - taking consumers/clients insight, and using it to drive thinking and good decisions

Understanding of competitive products and go to market models is a plus

Understanding of direct and in-direct sales channels is a plus

Travel

Compensation Note

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered will depend on job-related knowledge, experience, location, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, generous PTO, paid company holidays annually, and volunteer time.
