Senior Director of Recruiting, Human Resources & Business Operations Base pay range

The HR Generalist will be the primary HR point of contact for a U.S.-based office of around 30 employees. This individual will handle day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance, while serving as a partner to global HR leadership. The role is ideal for someone ready to step into a position with ownership and growth potential in a dynamic nonprofit environment. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main HR contact for U.S. staff, ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration for U.S. roles. Support benefits coordination, HRIS updates, and employee data accuracy. Partner with leadership on policies, training, and engagement initiatives. Contribute to employee programs, recognition efforts, and DEIB activities. Provide HR reporting, support offboarding, and help maintain a positive workplace culture. Qualifications
2–3 years of HR experience with broad exposure to core HR functions. Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail, especially around payroll/compensation support. Comfortable working independently and making decisions. Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional experience considered in lieu of degree. HRIS and Google Workspace experience strongly preferred. Seniority level
