General Manager(02887) - 1828 Sheridan Rd Full-time ABOUT THE JOB You are looking to manage a restaurant and grow with Domino's Pizza. Domino's has thousands of stores worldwide, offering opportunities to move up. This role is a leadership position with a focus on delivering excellent pizza delivery service. Responsibilities
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time; expect the same from your crew. Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards. Provide great customer service and manage attendance, punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability. Operate equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage/work area/walk-in cooler, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork, clean equipment and facility daily. Delivery driver to franchisee or management career pathways from delivery driver to GM or franchisee as future opportunities. Adhere to diversity and inclusion principles in the workplace. General duties: operate all equipment; stock ingredients; prepare product; receive and process orders; take inventory; clean equipment and facility daily. Training: orientation and on-the-job training provided. Communication: ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders (phone and in person). Essential Skills: basic math, ability to make correct monetary change, verbal/written/telephone skills for orders, eye-hand coordination for fast, accurate work, ability to enter orders on computer or touch screen. Work Conditions & Physical Demands: standard job environment with varying temperatures, exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500+ degrees, sharp edges and moving parts; standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs with cases up to 72" high when stocking), carrying, pushing/pulling, occasional climbing, bending and reaching; driving delivery duties may be required. Driving: valid driver’s license with safe driving record and access to insured vehicle for delivery; essential navigation skills for delivery locations; ability to deliver product within a designated area.
