Seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Family Medicine. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to patients in need. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of individuals and families, making a significant impact on the community's health. As a Locum MD or DO, you will be involved in diverse medical projects, ranging from routine check-ups to urgent care, contributing to the overall healthcare delivery system.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations.
Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Adhere to medical protocols and guidelines.
Participate in continuous medical education and training.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Valid medical license in the state of practice.
Proven experience in Family Medicine or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and patient needs.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
No call shifts
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: Up to 24 per day
Patient Population: All ages
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
