Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Asset Manager

to oversee the performance of a growing portfolio of multi-family housing assets. The Asset Manager will play a critical role in maximizing property value, ensuring strong financial performance, and driving operational efficiency across the portfolio. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of multi-family operations, and the ability to partner effectively with property management teams, investors, and senior leadership. Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight:

Manage day-to-day performance of a portfolio of multi-family housing assets, ensuring achievement of revenue, occupancy, and expense targets. Financial Management:

Monitor property financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Identify opportunities to enhance NOI and drive property value. Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement asset-level business plans, including value-add strategies, capital improvement projects, and disposition analyses. Property Operations:

Partner with third-party property managers to ensure leasing, maintenance, and resident service standards align with ownership objectives. Capital Projects:

Oversee renovations, repositioning, and capital expenditure projects to ensure quality execution and ROI. Investor Relations:

Prepare reporting packages and updates for internal stakeholders and external investors. Provide clear, data-driven insights on asset performance. Market Research:

Conduct ongoing analysis of local multi-family markets to support rent growth, acquisition, and disposition decisions. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and lender requirements for all assets. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in asset management, investment management, or real estate finance, with a focus on multi-family housing. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and Argus (or similar). Proven track record of maximizing asset performance and executing value-add strategies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with investors, property managers, and cross-functional teams. Knowledge of real estate finance, market fundamentals, and property operations. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
