An international financial institution is seeking a seasoned Credit Officer to join its North America team, focusing on Corporate and Structured Finance with a strong emphasis on complex infrastructure and project finance transactions. Lead in-depth credit analysis of corporate, structured, and project finance transactions, preparing comprehensive credit opinions and recommendations. Evaluate borrower financials, collateral structures, and industry trends to assess risk and ensure sound credit decisions. Structure loan terms and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with relationship managers and internal stakeholders. Review, validate, and assign borrower credit ratings, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor portfolio exposures, identifying early warning signals and escalating deteriorating credit situations when necessary. Participate in internal credit discussions and, where appropriate, client meetings for complex or risk-critical transactions. Oversee contract documentation, ensuring compliance with restrictive provisions, covenants, and collateral requirements. Contribute to portfolio analysis, reporting, and special projects supporting departmental risk management initiatives. Mentor junior staff and share expertise to strengthen overall team capabilities. Maintain strict adherence to risk policies, data quality standards, and service-level expectations. Qualifications
Senior credit professional with experience in corporate and structured finance, and a focus on complex infrastructure and project finance transactions. Strong risk management, analytical, and advisory capabilities are required. Seniority level
