ER and on-call are in addition to clinical services. Method of Payment: Fee-for-Service Method of Payment Description: The physician will bill the Medical Services Branch for clinical services rendered and will be remunerated as per the terms set forth by the Ministry of Health – Medical Services Branch.

Emergency room coverage is in addition to clinical coverage and is remunerated through the Rural Emergency Room Pilot Site Stabilization Agreement for Services. Job Description

The community of Estevan, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a team-oriented and professional family physician to join the healthcare team. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team providing primary healthcare services to the community of Estevan and the surrounding area, collaborating with other medical professionals to support acute care and emergency services.

St. Joseph's Hospital, located in Estevan, is a fully accredited district hospital offering services such as Acute Care, Obstetrics Ward, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Dialysis Ward, and diagnostics including Laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound & CT Services.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is committed to learning and partners in the educational development of medical students, residents, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. Certification or eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) or eligibility to obtain one Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Valid driver's license Successful SHA credentialing, including reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector Current Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage Legal right to work in Canada Benefits
