Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Job with Trinity Health in Langhorne, PA
Join Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group as a full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (0.6 FTE) OB Laborist at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Responsibilities:
Cover the floor 24/7 as part of a team of OB Laborists. Work a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week for full-time, or two 12-hour shifts for part-time, with a split between day and night shifts. Provide medical oversight for the Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum Units to ensure patient safety. Communicate clinical status to attending physicians. Perform initial H&P assessments on arrival if not done by the attending. Complete discharge instructions prior to patient discharge as needed. Evaluate OB/GYN patients within 30 minutes at the discretion of the attending OB/GYN, if feasible. Maintain current knowledge of Peri-Facts Program requirements. Participate in educational programs as mutually agreed upon. Oversee Labor, Triage, Delivery, and Recovery areas, maintaining communication with the attending physician. Complete progress notes promptly on all patient contacts. Requirements:
Active PA medical license. NCC certification in fetal monitoring within 6 months of hire. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Compensation and Benefits:
