Location: Chicago, IL. This is a full-time Emergency Medicine Faculty Physician position with a focus on clinical care, teaching residents, and participating in scholarly activity and residency education.
Base pay range $250,000.00/hr - $300,000.00/hr
Responsibilities
Be involved in teaching residents and resident education/conference.
Provide compassionate care to the community and practice evidence-based standards of care for emergency medical services.
Engage in scholarly activity with support from a dedicated research department.
Work within a 25-bed ED with a Fast-track zone run by APCs and an expected 40,000 annual ED visits.
Contribute to program development as part of the new Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center.
Qualifications & Requirements
Residency completed in Emergency Medicine.
ABEM certified (or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency completion).
Active Illinois state license required.
ACLS required for all providers.
Covid-19 Vaccination.
Experience with teaching and academics.
