Overview
Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team. This position is suitable for new graduates and boarded experienced anesthesiologists to make an impact serving a culturally diverse patient population in a physician shortage area. Responsibilities
Perform a multitude of anesthesia cases, including general, orthopedic, obstetrics, reconstructive/hand, podiatry, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, and certain pediatric anesthesia cases. Pain management attendings will have an opportunity to develop their own ambulatory and procedural-based practice while employed under the NYU umbrella. Qualifications
Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology (as applicable per position). Open to new graduates and boarded experienced anesthesiologists. Compensation and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $521,000–$531,000. 403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement ranging from $3,000–$3,500, including one week of paid CME time. Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting productivity and compliance metrics. 24 vacation days, 12 sick days, 12 holidays. Full NYU benefits package including medical, dental, prescription, disability, and life insurance. NYU college tuition remission for employees and dependents. NYU Faculty Appointment.
