We keep the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Be part of operating the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure. This role requires analytical strength, attention to detail, open communication, and the ability to work autonomously. Responsibilities

Logistics Operations Leader: Guarantee the organization runs smoothly and that our services meet customer and business needs on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Include responsibilities such as developing performance goals, executing productivity plans, determining timelines, maintaining quality control standards, and removing roadblocks for major initiatives. Logistics Business Leader: Act as the primary point of contact for communication and escalation within the area; develop team strategies, vision, and goals; ensure operations comply with legislation and policy; manage information flow from higher levels to the team; create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs. Logistics People Leader: Manage staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, and process changes; facilitate team coordination and cohesion; focus on personal and team growth; support projects beyond day-to-day operations; distribute opportunities fairly; conduct regular 1:1s; ensure accountability and coaching documentation; open new requisitions and raise the bar with new hires. Process Improver: Drive continuous improvement; contribute to deployment plans; teach process creation and measurement; conduct post-deployment evaluations (PDSA); advise team members on improvement strategies. Audits: Conduct monthly audits using standardized checklists. Meetings: Lead team meetings; may represent Logistics locally or globally. Travel: Travel between sites and across the cluster as needed. Note: Training in Manassas, Virginia for up to 3 months. About The Team

High school diploma or equivalent Experience with email, Microsoft Office (or equivalent), online tools, databases, reporting, and presentations 3+ years of logistics management experience; 3+ years of training and people management Must be accessible at all times via telephone, text, or similar instant messaging Proven ability to develop talent through mentoring with a track record of vertical team development Strong leadership in project execution with stakeholder alignment and clear performance targets Preferred Qualifications
