RN Supervisor Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Locum Tenens)
- Location: Salem, MA 01970 – Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Administration

- End Date: January 31, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including every other weekend and holiday
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2620 - $2810
RN Supervisor Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of advanced Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Proficient in reading Tele Strips and performing Cardiac Drips, including medication titration
- Preferred: Critical care nursing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse healthcare teams and patient populations
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
RN Supervisor Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, operational, and clinical leadership for nursing services during assigned shifts
- Serve as a clinical resource for patient care and healthcare services
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient care
- Notify Administrator-On-Call regarding serious incidents and emergencies
- Supervise nursing practices and verify adherence to healthcare standards
- Guide and direct nursing staff to facilitate effective clinical processes
- Implement appropriate interventions for patient deterioration, disruptive behavior, and equipment issues
- Conduct rounds in all patient care areas, focusing on high-acuity patient reporting
- Coordinate with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical teams for comprehensive patient care
- Address and resolve patient or family concerns, ensuring documentation and follow-up
