Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing Jobs in Lewiston, Maine

Compensation

Estimated weekly salary: $1820 - $1950, depending on experience and qualifications.

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation units
• Utilize effective verbal and non-verbal communication, especially with Alzheimer’s/dementia residents
• Provide IV therapy, wound care, geriatric assessment, and management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a safe, therapeutic, and home-like environment
• Adapt to the needs of various units, including Alzheimer’s/dementia care, transitional rehabilitation, and long-term placement
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care

RN Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Maine or compact state
• Associate\'s degree in Nursing or higher
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 1-3 years preferred in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to float between units and provide 24/7 clinical support as needed
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Lewiston, ME
• No licensure hits; previous employees not eligible

• Shift Options: 12-hour day (7:00am – 7:30pm) or night (7:00pm – 7:30am) shifts

• Orientation: Up to 16 hours (unpaid)
