Key Job Details – Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care

• Location: Ellsworth, KS 67439 – Explore nursing jobs in Kansas and enjoy the welcoming community and scenic landscapes of Ellsworth.
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Locum Tenens
• Healthcare Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
• Shifts: 12-hour days, Weekend Warrior: 6:00am – 6:00pm, every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1380-$1480
• Charting System: PCC (PointClickCare EMR)
  
  

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care settings
• Ability to work every third weekend as scheduled
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
  

RN Responsibilities – Long Term Care Nursing

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long term care and skilled nursing environment
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions using PCC (PointClickCare) EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support residents and their families regarding care and wellness
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state nursing regulations, and healthcare standards
