Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry/IMCU)
• Assignment Duration: 15 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 End: 01/11/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950 – $2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry/IMCU)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation in compliance with hospital standards
