• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (06:30 – 15:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2070 - $2220 per week
• Patient Age Groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Monitor and assess patients pre-operatively and post-operatively across all age groups
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize clinical skills in procedures and general perioperative care as applicable to outpatient settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Participate in orientation and complete required training modules (average 6-8 hours)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state; must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in outpatient surgery, ambulatory surgery, or perioperative nursing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proven experience with a range of outpatient surgical procedures (see clinical skills below)
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred, but not required
• Must reside outside a 150-mile radius from the facility
• Return travelers: Previous permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
