Overview

• Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (Atlanta metro area)
• Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 17, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p–7a), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1610-$1650
• Patient Ratio: 3:1 (patients to RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a fast-paced trauma center
• Respond to trauma and medical emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism during required holiday shifts

Qualifications

• Active RN license – Georgia or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Ability to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the contract
• No local candidates within 50 miles of Lawrenceville, GA
