Overview: A top healthcare client is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED).

Position Summary: The FSED RN will deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years recent (within the past year) acute care Emergency Room experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma from an accredited institution required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Active Florida RN license or compact license with Florida licensure within 90 days of hire; Advanced Practice RN license also acceptable
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire

  • Collect and assess comprehensive patient health data
  • Analyze findings to determine diagnoses or issues
  • Develop and implement care plans based on identified outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate progress toward expected goals
