Sign on Bonus: $15K

Position Summary

To provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process and maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. The provision of this care is to be conducted in a collaborative manner with all members of the healthcare team to deliver quality care and the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care ER RN experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure required. If holding a license in another state, active FL RN compact license required within 90 days of hire. Advanced Nurse Practitioner license acceptable.
• Client or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required within 30 days.

• Maintains current nursing knowledge and skills.
• Exercises independent judgment in patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluates own practice against standards and regulations.
• Collaborates professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Integrates research into practice.
• Considers safety, effectiveness, and cost in care planning.
• Provides leadership and follows safety guidelines.
• Performs unit-specific duties and other assigned tasks, including floating as needed.
