Job Details

• Job Title: Operating Room Circulator RN – Travel Nursing
• Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract (September 11, 2025 – December 6, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: Day shifts, 10 hours (7:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 7:00pm)
• On-Call: Rotational weekday and weekend on-call, including holidays

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Circulator RN
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (weekday and weekend coverage)
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team
• Prepare the OR for surgical procedures, verify patient identity, and maintain sterile technique
• Monitor and document patient status throughout surgery
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare staff to facilitate efficient workflow
• Respond promptly to surgical emergencies and adapt to changing situations
• Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage for weekday evenings and one weekend day every 4th to 5th weekend

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,330 - $2,500
