• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nursing Contract
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Location: Live Oak, TX 78233 (San Antonio area)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1870-$1920
• Start Date: August 20, 2025
• End Date: November 19, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour nights (11PM-7AM), rotating call (minimum one night per week, one weekend per 5-week schedule)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Scrub Attire: Provided by facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for OR nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent operating room (OR) circulator experience
• Ability to fulfill rotating call schedule (weeknights and weekends)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred: Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic procedures

OR RN Responsibilities

• Serve as an OR circulator nurse for diverse surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and infection control standards
• Participate in rotating call schedule, including assigned weeknights and weekends
• Demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment
