Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data; detects abnormalities and responds appropriately
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in the telemetry unit
• Observes patient conditions, documents findings, and notifies the supervisor or physician of status and response to interventions
• Responds to life-saving situations in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for assigned patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Qualifications

• Required: One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current RN license in the appropriate state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification
• Preferred: Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification; NIHSS certification

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and English language
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficient PC skills
• Physical ability to move and assist with equipment (50-100 lbs)
• Ability to work with a diverse healthcare team and maintain professionalism
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
