Travel Telemetry RN — Company: Fusion Medical Staffing — Location: Highlands, NC

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and privacy in the telemetry unit
• Documents patient conditions, communicates with the team, and notifies appropriate personnel of changes
• Responds to life-saving situations in accordance with hospital policies and cardiac protocols
• Educates patients about cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Performs other duties within the scope of practice as assigned
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current RN license in the appropriate state
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
