• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Variable 12-hour rotating shifts (covering gaps as needed)
• Floating: May float to units with similar or lower-level acuity at any Adena healthcare location
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,760 - $1,890

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of Waverly, OH
• Strong clinical decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency room, utilizing advanced clinical nursing skills
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for ER patients
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and patients/families to achieve optimal outcomes
• Float to other hospital units with similar or lower acuity as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
• Support the hospital\'s mission to care, heal, and educate within the healthcare community
