You will support patients through every phase of their cancer journey—from diagnosis and treatment to end-of-life care.

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night), including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in oncology or medical-surgical settings)
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Chemo certification required (Oncology Nursing Society or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain TB skin test as required for healthcare jobs in New York
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to adult hematology-oncology patients throughout all stages of cancer treatment
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Administer chemotherapy and other specialized oncology treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and support patients and families regarding cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and symptom management
- Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required by the medical oncology unit
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for nursing jobs in New York
