Pediatric Infusion RN Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY 14642
• Facility: Pediatric Infusion Center
• Assignment Length: 17 weeks (10/27/2025 – 1/24/2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts: 5x8 hour shifts; no weekends, holidays, or on-call
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2500–$2560
• Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract

Pediatric Infusion Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) certification
• APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses) certification preferred
• Proven IV skills and experience with IVADs/Ports
• Strong prioritization and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical needs

Pediatric Infusion RN Responsibilities

• Deliver infusion and procedural care for pediatric patients, including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product transfusions, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, compassionate pediatric care
• Utilize advanced IV skills and manage IVADs/Ports for pediatric patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Adapt to the dynamic needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center and support clinical operations
