Key Responsibilities
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
Supervise A/P and A/R operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls
Maintain fixed assets and lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842
Support financial reporting, budget variance analysis, and preparation of consolidated statements
Provide audit support for annual financial audit
Partner with leadership to drive process improvements, enhance workflows, and optimize ERP usage
Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team as the role transitions into a management capacity
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in nonprofit organizations required
Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit compliance, and financial reporting
NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred (recent ERP implementation experience a plus)
