Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Hiring: Engages in staffing activities including recruitment, testing, placement, orientation, transfer, promotion, layoff, recall and termination of plant and office personnel.
- Onboarding: Responsible for new hire orientation and all aspects of onboarding including new hire paperwork, training and assistance with benefit enrollment.
- HRIS: Proficient in HRIS and Time/Attendance systems to process changes, enter new hires, adjust pay rates, positions, supervisors, addresses, and tax changes; process terminations; run reports and perform system maintenance.
- Employee Relations: Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on policies, procedures and documentation to associates and management; handle incident investigations and manage performance counseling, improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
- Compliance/Policy: Coordinate resolution of policy-related problems; manage employment verifications and compliance reporting; administer pre-employment and post-offer testing including Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Benefit Administration: Explain benefit programs, respond to inquiries and manage enrollments and terminations.
- Recordkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and complete employee files and related information.
- Culture and Engagement: Plan and execute culture-building activities to foster retention.
- Research/Investigation: Provide research and investigation into operational issues and special projects as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years' experience or more, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, reports, legal documents and training guides
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with employees at all levels
- Experience using Windows Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and corporate email
- Experience solving practical problems in situations with limited standardization
Additional Information
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently stands, walks, reaches with hands and arms, climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Travel is sometimes required.
