IT Support Engineer (MSP) Job at Bowman Williams in Reston

Overview

We’re a long-standing Managed Service Provider supporting small to mid-sized businesses in the DC Metro area, and we’re looking for a Support Engineer to join our team. This is a client-facing role where you’ll be on-site providing top-tier technical support across desktops, networks, and servers.

Location: Northern VA / Washington, DC

Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do

• Provide on-site support for desktops (Windows & Mac), servers, and networking.
• Administer and troubleshoot Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Support firewalls, switches, Hyper-V, VMware, and Azure environments.
• Use tools like ConnectWise and Kaseya for monitoring and management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while solving technical challenges.

What You Bring

• MSP experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows/Mac support, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with firewalls, switching, and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a client-first mindset.
