Toll Equipment Technician
for a
full-time position located in Miami/Doral, FL . This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting toll equipment systems. An initial training period will be from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, after which the regular schedule will be
Monday through Thursday, 2 pm to 1 am.
What You'll Do: Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedures
Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Utilize tools such as volt/amp meters and basic hand tools
Recognize electronic components and their functions
Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
Work safely at heights up to thirty (30) feet and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspection of equipment
Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate with senior technicians for complex malfunctions
Remove, repair, and replace damaged equipment
Assist with the installation and testing of equipment at new and existing tolling sites
Perform additional duties as required
What You'll Need
Valid Class E Driver's License
Knowledge of electronic systems and components
Skilled in the use of technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)
Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
COMPTIA A+ Training or equivalent within one year of hire
Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification
Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification
Completion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefi t package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
