Assembly Technician
to perform essential assembly and quality processes with precision and efficiency. This position will be
full-time

on-site

long-term contract
role This shift will be
Mon-Thu 5:30am - 4pm,
What You'll Do Read and follow drawings/prints and work instructions
Become proficient in all assembly and special processes as required
Gather and record data accurately
Detect and correct errors utilizing company communication and quality methodology
Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity
Use technical equipment, such as a comparator, microscope, and other measuring devices as needed
Crosstrain in other departments as required
What You'll Need Required: 1-2 years of related work experience (preferable)
Detail-oriented individual with multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work under general supervision
Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods
Steel-toe shoes
Comfort using a scope
Preferred: Prior experience working with technical equipment or in manufacturing settings
Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing assembly tasks
Additional Requirements: This position requires access to information subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
The pay range for this position is $17.84 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
